From what I've read, the attraction to firemen is fairly prevalent.
Not only are they usually young and in excellent physical condition, but they do things that we consider "heroic" on a weekly basis!
If you ask most people what they have done during this last week, they'll say: "I worked."...

"Oh, I pulled 5 kids out of a burning house."
